We are pleased to be offering Family Adventure Camps in 2021!   Grounded in our core values, the programs stem from three key principles; connect, respect, ripple effect. Time spent connecting with one another allows space for new and richer bonds to form.  Getting out into nature provides an even playing field to see each other’s strengths shine and foster respect for individual learning styles. The ripple effect is a family with stronger roots.

Family Adventure Camp 

Family Adventure Camp is the Lodge’s quintessential trip. Activities range from our ropes course to our kayak slide. (re)Kindle your love for the outdoors on an overnight canoe camping trip. It’s ideal for families with younger children, anyone new to camping, and those looking for an action filled week.

Family Expeditions 

Our Expeditions were created for optimizing time spent in the backcountry. Choose from an alpine hike that will take you away from the crowds, a sea kayaking trip rich in marine life and history, a canoe portage trip filled with comradery, and a wilderness expedition packed with wonder and creativity. These trips are for the adventure lovers, the challenge seekers, and those ready to take their skills to the next level. A great option for families who want to feel more confident traveling in the backcountry.

The Perks of Nature’s Playground 

Time spent outdoors has plenty of benefits for ourselves, our families, and our communities. Space and freedom to explore is an important part of child development. Families naturally come with a mix of age and experience and this has its advantages, including collaborative learning, knowledge sharing, and mutual nurturance. Fun and adventure in nature has the potential to unlock the following.
